The primary goal of this site is to give people the opportunity to hear music that they otherwise might not get a chance to hear.

This site is an "underground" resource module for the So-Fla area. We love turning people on to sounds. New and old... stuff that gets us goin'. We love it when someone plays something for us and we have to ask them who it is! Music has the ability to unite us. Connecting us to one another in ways that other forms of interaction cannot. Our personal frustration with the state of radio today stems from the corporate interests represented to the exclusion of better lesser known musicians. EmPtYv and monopolized commercial radio simply doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of what's out there. "The sleeper must awaken."-Dune

I'm so tired of hearing that... "That kind of radio (eclectic, free-form) won't work." "It won't generate enough ad revenue." "You won't make a lot of $$$."

We don't need to make a lot of money. We're doing this because we love good music. There is an audience out there... we've met you... and the number of people disillusioned with corporate programmed radio are growing. We need to educate one another. It's time to bring the "dj" back for all types of music. Not just dance-oriented material. Someone who actually cares enough to take the time to wade through the mountains of rock garbage in order to share the good stuff with you the listener. Once a solid core listenership is achieved, we may be able to coax some of these bands into making the dreaded trip to south florida.
